The Jacqueson plot within the east-facing, villages-level Chaponnières vineyard- featuring classic Burgundian clay-limestone soils- was planted in 1985. We love Rully Rouge for its tender, pure and direct aromas of fraise and cranberry, and there's a lift to the 2022 that makes it quite captivating. Energy and aromatics take precedence here, and we especially love Pinot Noir like this with salmon or arctic char.
