The firm of Lequin-Colin is not well known in the US, but it was an original part of the Neal Rosenthal portfolio back in the 1980s, and it still turns out superb Chassagne Blanc, Bâtard-Montrachet and an array of southern Côte de Beaune reds whose prices are absolute bargains, given the quality in the bottle. La Comme is a top Premier Cru of Santenay, and Lequin's rendition is from very old vines. It offers sap, vigor and concentrated aromas and flavors of Pinot Noir. Organic and biodynamic principles followed here.
