The Chenin Blanc from Château du Hureau comes from four separate parcels of 40 year-old vines planted to the classic Saumur combo of clay topsoils and tuffeau (chalk) subsoils. It's dry, sneakily full-bodied and an excellent candidate for aging, although its pear/apricot aromas and flavors are hard to resist. Certified organic.
