It's unfair to compare other California Sauvignon Blanc to the exquisite Stolpman, as their plot of 30 year-old, dry-farmed vines is planted to one of the state's rare limestone-buttressed vineyards. The aroma, structure and flavors are more than a bit suggestive of the Loire Valley, but there's an energy and exuberance here that's pure Stolpman. Practicing organic, dry-farmed.
