Dry farming and the skill of master vineyard manager Ruben Solorzano allowed Stolpman to excel in 2020. All the spicy, meaty, gamey, black olive qualities we love in Stolpman Syrah are here (in quite an approachable and drinkable package), although we expect this will age like a champ, too. Ballard Canyon remains the only Syrah-first appellation in America, and this wine remains the flagship of this exciting appellation.
