This predominantly Grenache (70%, with Carineña and Syrah blended in) is vinified simply in stainless steel and given a year in oak before release. We love the Forés style, as the wines show their Catalan provenance without the excessive inkiness and tannin often found in neighboring Montsant and Priorat. It's an excellent choice for all kinds of hearty dishes, standing up to them in a way that suggests a much more expensive wine. Native ferment, sustainable farming.
