Hélène & Guillaume Baron's Languedoc estate turns out a fantastic array of well-priced, balanced wines that showcase the region while managing to avoid heavy, ponderous and sometimes overly-alcoholic stylings that are all too common here. Their Terraces du Larzac- a mix of 55% Grenache, 30% Cinsault and 15% Syrah, features half whole-cluster fermentation in concrete eggs and is as fine and pointedly aromatic a red as you'll ever encounter from the Languedoc.
