Occhipinti's Il Frappato is a serious, almost brooding take on a grape that's better known for being a component of Cerasuolo di Vittoria and being a bit of a fruity, frivolous wine when it's the featured grape. There's the low/no sulfur and natty Occhipinti signature here, but the wine is incredibly complex, complete and satisfying.
