Vincent Ricard’s entry-level “basic” Touraine is a Sauvignon Blanc that can give a few Sancerres and Pouilly-Fumés a run for their money. Expect bracing acidity, gooseberry, passion fruit and a fine minerality...at a price even mass-produced New Zealand Sauvignon can't possibly match.
