Our longtime clients know that we don't go for the "sledgehammer" style of Malbec. It has to be aromatic, true-to-type and (most of all) balanced! Zuccardi's Concreto cuvée, from old vines grown in the calcareous soils of the Paraje Altamira district, Uco Valley, is just that. As the name suggests, the wine is raised in traditional concrete tanks, and features a fair amount of whole cluster fermentation of the grapes, plus a quite-moderate 14% alcohol. Superb!
